Nipper Electric, a residential electrician expert, is looking for a capable Lead Residential Electrician, has excellent communication skills, and is highly motivated to join our team!

Nipper Electric of Virginia Beach, VA is looking to hire a full-time Lead Residential Electrician to educate our clients on electrical safety issues as you diagnose and repair electrical issues in their homes. This position performs all residential electrical services, including installing outlets, fixtures, panels, etc.

Lead Residential Electrician Duties & Responsibilities:

The Lead Electrical Service Technician will play a fundamental role in offering quality service to customers and the overall growth of the Service Department.

• Lead a team of electricians and work alongside.
• Perform electrical repairs, troubleshooting, maintenance, and new electrical installations.
• Maintain accurate records of material and labor used for projects.
• Assign priority to projects.
• Provide input for the weekly work schedule.
• Report to supervisor daily.
• Provide training, guidance, and coaching to electricians.
• Complete company-assigned training.
• Serve as a company representative and maintain a professional appearance.
• Provide excellent customer service
• Participate in training, allowing you to grow and develop as a professional.

Lead Residential ElectricianRequirements:

• Work (8-10) Hours a Day (X5) Days a week Monday-Friday
• Attend early and late weekday meetings with Customers, Staff, Vendors, and Personnel as needed.
• Pursue, develop, and participate in continuing education
• Meet and exceed shop minimums
• Endure Strong Physical Labor
• Sit, stand, walk, and bend for prolonged periods while being productive.
• To lift to 100 LBS. of equipment and job materials
• Know and abide by the N.E.C.
• Work with inspectors, supply houses, vendors.
